Zendaya’s Mom Responds to Law Roach’s Comments About Her Daughter and Tom Holland’s Marriage

Claire Stoermer, mother of acclaimed actress Zendaya, recently shared her thoughts concerning rumors about her daughter’s wedding to fellow actor Tom Holland. These speculations gained momentum after the actress’s stylist, Law Roach, claimed that the couple’s nuptials had already taken place without public knowledge.
During a red-carpet interview at the Actor Awards, Roach surprised attendees by stating, “You missed it,” when asked about Zendaya and Holland’s wedding. He later confirmed the statement, saying, “It’s very true,” when pressed for clarification by a reporter from Access Hollywood.
Following Roach’s assertion, Stoermer reportedly shared a clip of the interview on her Instagram Story, captioning it with “The laugh…,” in a post that has since been deleted, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The Actor Awards were held on March 1. Following the buzz from Roach’s comments, Billboard reached out to representatives for both Zendaya and Holland, as well as Roach, for further comments.
Zendaya, the star of Challengers, is the daughter of two former school teachers; her mother Stoermer and father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman worked in Oakland, California, where Zendaya grew up. The actress confirmed in 2016 that her mother had filed for divorce after eight years of marriage, sharing a family photo on X and noting, “My parents ain’t been together for a long time, y’all didn’t know cause we private+they still homies #lateassnews.”
Nearly a decade later, Zendaya continues to maintain her privacy regarding personal matters, as illustrated by the uncertainty surrounding her relationship with Holland. The couple, who reportedly got engaged at the beginning of 2025, only confirmed their engagement months later in September, when Holland corrected a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his “girlfriend” instead of his “fiancée.”
