Jesy Nelson has raised the possibility of a full reunion of Little Mix, including herself, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards.
The 34-year-old artist, who left the popular group in December 2020, spoke to The Sun about her feelings toward a potential reunion as she prepares for the release of her documentary Life After Little Mix.
“We’re all mums now [aside from Thirlwall], and I can’t speak on behalf of them, but I’d like to think that we probably see things a lot differently now,” Nelson stated. “I think you do as you get older, but you know, never say never. I have so much love for them and always will.”

Nelson’s exit from Little Mix, which is currently on hiatus, was marked by some drama. In a previous interview, she revealed she hadn’t spoken to her former bandmates in two years.
Reflecting on her time with the group, Nelson shared, “It’s always been tough when people have asked me questions about Little Mix, but one thing I loved when I made this series was reflecting back on the most incredible times that I had in the group.”
“It was so lovely to sit and watch all the footage and stuff that people have never seen about me and Little Mix, and it was really nice to be reminded of all the beautiful times that I had with them,” she noted. “Not that I’d forgotten about them, but when you’ve been out of it for so long, you do sometimes forget how amazing it was.”
Nelson emphasized that despite challenges, “the majority of my time in Little Mix was incredible.”
“I’ve never spoken horrendously about Little Mix,” she continued. “I had tough times in terms of my mental health and experiences in the band, but ultimately, our time together in Little Mix was amazing.”
She added, “That’s the reason why Little Mix was so successful—because we genuinely were like sisters, we were genuinely best friends. It was really lovely to reminisce and talk positively about my time in the band.”
Following her departure, Little Mix released one album as a trio and subsequently announced a hiatus in 2022. Edwards and Thirlwall have both released solo albums, while Pinnock is scheduled to release her solo work later this month.
Nelson has put her music career on hold after welcoming twin daughters Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, who were recently diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
“I’m not sure I was ever made for this industry,” she reflected. “It’s never smooth sailing; you never know what’s going to happen.”
“With everything that’s going on right now and with my girls, I can’t even look that far ahead, but I’ll always love music,” she concluded.
