The premiere of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island has garnered significant attention, drawing 2.7 million viewers across various platforms within the first week of its April 2 debut. This marks Bravo’s highest multiplatform series premiere since 2024, according to NBCUniversal.
Additionally, the series achieved the record for the most-watched series or season premiere for a Bravo original on Peacock within its initial seven days. The growing popularity of the show has continued, with Episode 4 seeing an 11% increase in viewership on Peacock compared to the first three episodes, based on the three-day average minute audience.
The buzz surrounding the premiere has not only attracted viewers but also sparked conversation on social media. Since its announcement at BravoCon 2025, the show has generated 60 million impressions and 33.5 million video views across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and X.
The Expansion of the Franchise
The Real Housewives franchise began in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County and has grown exponentially over the past two decades. Rhode Island marks the 11th traditional spinoff, joining existing franchises in New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Miami, Potomac, and Salt Lake City, along with the original series. Previous iterations have also been set in Washington, D.C., and Dallas, as well as the Ultimate Girls Trip spinoff.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is produced by Evolution Media, known for producing The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as well as Vanderpump Rules and Botched.
