Emerald Fennell’s Adaptation of Wuthering Heights to Premiere on HBO Max Soon
Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell and featuring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, is set to premiere on HBO Max on Friday, May 1. The film will be available on HBO linear the following day at 8:00 p.m. ET.
An American Sign Language version will also be available exclusively on HBO Max, with performances by ASL Dubbers Leila Hanaumi and Giovanni Maucere, directed by Justin Jackerson.
Released by Warner Bros. in February, Wuthering Heights stars Robbie as Cathy and Elordi as Heathcliff. The story delves into their tumultuous relationship, exploring themes of forbidden passion, love, and madness. The film also features performances by Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell.
Fennell not only directed but also wrote the screenplay and produced the film alongside Josey McNamara and Robbie. Executive producers include Tom Ackerley and Sara Desmond.
