During the presentation, Clark teased, “On behalf of the Opry, Reba, this is your 40th anniversary gift, and I’m happy to give it to you,” to which McEntire quipped, “Because you want part of it.” Clark replied with playful honesty, “Yes, I do. That’s it. That’s it.”

Three years later, she shared another moment on Instagram, showcasing a hot dog on a stick covered in ketchup and mustard, hashtagged with “#welovecorndogs.” In an interview with Variety in May 2025, she expressed her fondness for corn dogs, stating, “I do love a corn dog and I like to mix it with mustard and ketchup. Not only just one, you gotta mix it because it’s real good.”
