Zara Larsson Collaborates with Shakira, PinkPantheress, and Others for the ‘Midnight Sun’ Deluxe Edition: Get Ready for a Memorable Summer

Swedish pop artist Zara Larsson has announced the upcoming release of a deluxe edition of her breakthrough album, Midnight Sun, which will feature prominent artists such as Shakira, PinkPantheress, and Robyn.
On April 22, just days after revealing the new edition titled Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, Larsson shared a video showcasing the collaborators on the expanded project. In addition to the aforementioned artists, the tracklist will also include Tyla, Kehlani, JT, Madison Beer, BAMBII, Margo XS, Emilia, Malibu, Eli, and Helena Gao.
The video features Larsson selecting quirky keychains at a gas station, each labeled with the name of a collaboration partner. “I’m so so so so so honored and excited for this,” she expressed in the caption, adding, “And you know what’s crazy? This is just the beginning of girls trip!!! Like HELLO, this summer is gonna be madness.”
Midnight Sun: Girls Trip is set to release on May 1, building on Larsson’s recent achievements, including her first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with PinkPantheress’ “Stateside,” which reached No. 6 in March.
On April 29, Larsson will be honored with the Breakthrough Award at this year’s Billboard Women in Music event. In a recent interview with Billboard, she remarked, “For the first time in a long time, I’m on the Billboard charts. I’m reaching so many new heights 10 years into my career, which is exciting and a testament to never giving up.”
