Police Pursuit in San Fernando Valley Ends in Crash, Injuring Officer

A police pursuit in the San Fernando Valley concluded with a crash on Saturday night, resulting in injuries to at least one officer from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

The incident occurred in the Reseda area, specifically on North Wilbur Avenue. According to the LAPD, one officer was trapped inside their patrol car following the two-vehicle collision.

Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene to assist three individuals involved in the crash. Two men were reported in critical condition, while a third person was listed in fair condition, as stated by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

The pursuit was initiated after reports of a possible DUI driver. Authorities confirmed that the suspect was taken into custody following the chase.
