New Men In Black Movie Being Developed by Bad Boys For Life Writer Chris Bremner
Sony Pictures remains tight-lipped regarding the details of its latest project, with no official comments released.
Sources indicate that actor Will Smith is not currently attached to the project and will only consider participation after reviewing a script.
The new film is in the early stages of development, with no producer agreements finalized. Historically, all previous entries in the Men In Black franchise were produced by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, with Steven Spielberg serving as an executive producer. The Men In Black series, alongside the Bad Boys franchise, is regarded as a significant asset for the studio, particularly following the success of the original 1997 film. Collectively, the franchise has grossed approximately $1.904 billion globally, encompassing the original movie, two sequels, and the 2019 reboot, MIB: International.
Writer Chris Bremner has established himself as a prominent figure in Hollywood, having penned the last two Bad Boys films, which together amassed a global box office total of $837.1 million. He is also a favored writer on projects featuring Smith, having recently written the Netflix action thriller Fast & Loose, which is anticipated to be Smith’s next film.
Bremner is represented by WME and Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment.
