Lumiere Award Winners Celebrate Excellence in Imaging: Highlights from KPOP Demon Hunters, Sinners, Andor, and Severance
KPop Demon Hunters and Sinners Shine at Lumiere Awards
In a celebration of creativity and innovation, KPop Demon Hunters and Sinners emerged as double winners at the 16th annual Lumiere Awards held Monday at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The event, organized by the Advanced Imaging Society, recognizes exceptional achievements in visual technology.
The prestigious event, often referred to as the “Oscars for geeks,” saw winners chosen by members from Hollywood’s creative and technical communities. Sinners took home the award for Best Live Action Feature Film, presented by Best Supporting Actor nominee Delroy Lindo, who honored producer Sev Ohanian. Additionally, members of the Sinners sound team accepted the award for Best Audio for a Theatrical Film.
“These Lumiere winners produced their brilliant stories by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible creatively and technically,” said Jim Chabin, president of the Advanced Imaging Society. “In these honorees we see our industry’s future — and that future is truly more exciting than ever.”
Other award recipients include Zootopia 2, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and F1 on the film side, while Andor, Severance, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man were among the winners in television categories.
