Kristen Stewart Shares Insights on Marriage with Dylan Meyer

Oscar-nominated actress Kristen Stewart recently offered a rare glimpse into her relationship with wife Dylan Meyer, reflecting on the meaningful lessons from their marriage. The couple, who wed in April at Casita Del Campo, a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, have been open about the positive impact their union has had on their lives.

In an interview with Esquire, published December 9, Stewart shared that her marriage has revealed to her the "power in numbers." “It’s so nice to have a family. It’s so nice to not be an unmoored individual,” she stated. “Dylan came into my life, and I immediately was like, ‘It’s so important to handpick and curate the people that surround you.’”

Stewart elaborated that her spouse, known for her straightforwardness, has a significant influence. “Dylan just does not suffer fools,” Stewart remarked, emphasizing her appreciation for the supportive dynamic in their relationship. “I may not always seem like it, but I really am kind of a ‘nice guy.’”

With a fondness for reading aloud, the couple enjoys sharing literary classics together, including East of Eden, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, and The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. “To share them outside of yourself is salve,” said Stewart, noting their two cats and one dog are included in these reading sessions.

However, Stewart, who enjoys being with her loved ones, also values her alone time and takes a couple of hours in the mornings to recharge before Meyer starts her day. “I like to steal time and remind myself to be alone,” she explained.

Photos shared from their intimate wedding highlighted a joyous moment where the couple shared a kiss in front of family and friends, including actress Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis. Meyer captured the moment in a social media post, stating, “I do. I really really really really really do,” accompanied by images from their celebration.

Looking ahead, Stewart has expressed a desire to start a family with Meyer. In a February 2024 interview with Rolling Stone, she stated, “I don’t know what my family’s going to look like, but there’s no f—— way that I don’t start acquiring kids. And also, ideally at some point soon, I want to have a kid. I really want that to happen.”
