Jay Shetty Shares What He’s Letting Go of in 2026 and What He’s Really Looking Forward To
Jay Shetty Enters 2026 with Focus on Priorities and New Podcast
Jay Shetty is ushering in the year 2026 with a clear sense of purpose and a commitment to realignment. The acclaimed entrepreneur and former monk, known for his popular podcast On Purpose, is prioritizing what truly matters to him as he sets his New Year’s resolutions.
Having garnered insights from conversations with prominent guests ranging from Michelle Obama to Jennifer Lopez, Shetty is refining his focus. “In my own life, what I’m shedding is the outsourcing of things that are important to me,” he shared in an exclusive interview.

Shetty emphasized the importance of reclaiming control over personal priorities. He reflects, “I think a lot of us outsource decisions around things that are really important to us or that we say are priorities,” which often leads to those values falling to the bottom of our lists.
As he embraces 2026, the 38-year-old life coach is committed to crafting his daily life around his most significant priorities. “What I’m taking into the New Year with me is making sure that my priorities are my priorities,” he asserted.

Central to Shetty’s focus this year is his new podcast, Messy Love: Difficult Conversations for Deeper Connection, premiering on January 22, 2026, as an Audible Original. For the first time, Shetty will provide live coaching as part of the content, guiding real couples through unscripted relationship challenges.
“Messy Love is truly what I’m really excited about this year,” Shetty said, describing it as “a big moment” for listeners to gain insights from genuine interactions with couples.
The podcast aims to foster open dialogue and equip audiences with practical tools for navigating modern relationships, signaling a year ahead filled with meaningful projects. “I think this is the thing I’m most excited about, and there’s going to be lots more exciting things throughout the year as well,” he hinted.
