Jen Shah is receiving unexpected support from actress Emma Stone, who recently revealed that she braved freezing temperatures to attend Shah’s 2023 sentencing.
The former star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City responded to Stone’s admission, sharing her appreciation in a statement through her representative, Chris Giovanni.
“My response? Wow, I’m genuinely so touched that Emma Stone, who I’ve admired for so long, took the time to wait out in the cold for me,” Shah said. “That’s just incredible.”
Shah, who is 52, expressed her hopes of meeting Stone in the future, proposing a lighthearted idea for their encounter.
“I’d love the chance to thank her in person one day. Maybe we could even remake her iconic lip sync battle to DJ Khaled’s ‘All I Do Is Win,’” she suggested, referencing Stone’s memorable performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2014. “That would be Shahmazing!”

In an interview with W Magazine, Stone, 37, described her experience waiting for Shah, stating that she and her brother stood outside a New York City courthouse for two hours in freezing weather to support the reality star amid her legal struggles.
Stone expressed her deep interest in Shah’s story, noting her investment in Shah’s journey, especially considering her arrest during the filming of the Bravo series in 2021. “Her getting arrested on camera was wild,” Stone remarked.

Currently, Shah is serving the remainder of her prison sentence at home under community confinement in Salt Lake City after previously being incarcerated at a Federal Prison Camp in Texas. In February 2023, she began serving a 78-month sentence for her involvement in a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme, a punishment that has been reduced due to her good behavior and compliance with restitution requirements.
Reflecting on her past actions, Shah has publicly expressed remorse. “I am sorry. My actions have hurt innocent people,” she stated at her sentencing on January 6, 2023. “I want to apologize by saying, I am doing all I can to earn the funds to pay restitution.”
