Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have captured the spirit of the season with a heartfelt family photo featuring their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The Duchess of Sussex shared the image on her Instagram account, accompanied by the caption, "Happy Holidays! From our family to yours."
The photo, posted on December 19, showcases the family outdoors on a small bridge over a creek, a familiar backdrop in Meghan’s previous images. Meghan is depicted bending down to hold hands with her four-year-old daughter, while six-year-old Archie embraces his father. Notably, the picture highlights the children’s red hair, a trait they have inherited from Prince Harry, who remarked in 2023 that "the ginger gene is a strong one."
According to sources, the snapshot was taken at their family home in Montecito, California. This location has appeared in past photos, including one featuring Meghan and Lilibet on the same bridge.

On the same day, Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, released a video highlighting their philanthropic efforts through the Archewell Foundation, which has recently been renamed Archewell Philanthropies. The video includes a holiday greeting and footage of the couple and their children volunteering at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles ahead of Thanksgiving.
The holiday message conveyed good wishes: "On behalf of the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year."
While Prince Harry has been in Aspen, Colorado, for a ski getaway, reports indicate that the family will celebrate Christmas together at their California home this year.
The couple’s holiday traditions have also been showcased in Meghan’s recent Netflix special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration. In one segment, Meghan is seen preparing Advent calendars for Archie and Lilibet, personalizing them with messages of love. She reflected on her writing, remarking, "I love you because you’re so kind," as she filled the calendars with notes and treats. Additionally, Meghan shared her family’s British customs, such as making Christmas crackers and cooking a Christmas Eve gumbo recipe from her mother, Doria Ragland.
