Influencer Androgenic Shares Experience of Being Rushed to the Hospital While Unresponsive
Influencer Clavicular Hospitalized After Suspected Overdose During Livestream
Influencer Androgenic shared a concerning incident involving fellow content creator Clavicular, who was taken to the hospital after appearing unresponsive during a livestream.
On April 14, Androgenic recounted the moment on X, stating, “I hadn’t seen him in this state before and he went from speaking to being fairly unresponsive in mere seconds.” He described how the group quickly turned off the stream and rushed Clavicular to the hospital. "I haven’t received an update but that’s likely a good thing — and the acute respiratory depression window should already be over with," Androgenic added.
Background of the Incident
Us Weekly confirmed that Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, had “suffered a suspected overdose” during the livestream and had been hospitalized. Fans shared footage from the event, which showed Clavicular, 20, appearing disoriented while streaming with friends. At one point, when asked how he was feeling, he responded, “shot,” before he gradually lost consciousness, resting his head on a friend’s shoulder as the livestream abruptly ended.
Following the incident, Clavicular provided an update on X the next day. Sharing a selfie with visible injuries, he commented, “Just got home, that was brutal. All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution.” He added that the “worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.”
Clavicular’s Online Fame and Recent Controversies
Clavicular rose to prominence within the looksmaxxing community, a group focused on physical self-improvement to enhance dating prospects, as noted in a GQ article earlier this year. He has gained attention for previously claiming to modify his appearance through various extreme methods, including allegedly using a hammer on his face for chiseled cheekbones and utilizing substances like crystal meth and mail-order testosterone.
Just days before his hospitalization, Clavicular made headlines for walking out of a 60 Minutes interview when asked about his relationship with fellow influencer Andrew Tate. He remarked, “I see you want to make this political,” before ending the conversation abruptly.
