Man in Critical Condition Following Granada Hills Shooting
A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting incident on Friday evening in Granada Hills, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shooting occurred just before 6 p.m. in the 16700 block of Chatsworth Street. According to police reports, a group of five to ten individuals approached a parked vehicle and fired four shots, hitting the young man, who was inside the car with two of his adult siblings. He was subsequently transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses indicated that the shooter inquired about the victims’ affiliations before the gunfire erupted. As of now, the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.
Authorities have not released any descriptions of the suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
