Daniel Stern Steps Away from ABC Pilot ‘Do You Want Kids?’ Following Misdemeanor Charge; New Actor to Be Cast
The recent dismissal of Stern follows his misdemeanor charge of engaging in prostitution, filed on Monday. The Ventura County sheriff’s deputies initially cited him on December 10 at a hotel in Camarillo for allegedly soliciting a prostitute. His arraignment, originally scheduled for Tuesday in Ventura County court, has been postponed to February 6, as reported by TMZ. If found guilty, Stern faces a potential six-month jail sentence along with a fine of up to $1,000.
The single-camera pilot, Do You Want Kids?, centers around a married couple, Rosie (Bloom) and Alex Zilbalodis (Scovel). The narrative explores two divergent paths based on their decision to have a child or remain childless, illustrating the profound impact of this choice on their lives.
