Jude Law’s Dramatic New Look: His Longest and Lightest Hair in Two Decades
Jude Law Transforms for Apple TV+ Series Wild Things
Jude Law has made headlines with his striking transformation on the set of Wild Things. Sporting long, slicked-back blonde hair, the actor appeared virtually unrecognizable, departing from his trademark dark locks.
In character as famed illusionist Siegfried Fischbacher, Law was seen in a patterned scarf, a silver cross necklace, and a sleek black blazer, complemented by brown sunglasses. Photos from the set, obtained by People, showcase his dramatic new look alongside co-star Andrew Garfield, who portrays Roy Horn, Fischbacher’s partner.
Garfield himself has embraced a different appearance for his role. He has cropped, slicked-back dark hair and a soul patch, marking a significant departure from his usual style.
Wild Things is set to explore the true story of Siegfried and Roy, the iconic duo known for their elaborate magic acts involving wild animals, while their rumored romantic involvement adds another layer to their story.
This isn’t the first time Law has flirted with blonde hair; he experimented with the hue during his early career. In the ’90s, he bleached his hair for a theater role, claiming in a recent interview that it “wasn’t [his] fault.” He later turned blonde again for The Talented Mr. Ripley in 1999 and dabbled with blonde tips in the mid-2000s.
Currently, Law is predominantly recognized for his dark, cropped hairstyle, which he has openly embraced. “It’s so vital to who I am,” he noted on the "Bullseye" podcast. “I’ve shorn it off several times for certain roles, and I’ve no issue with a pate. My father is bald.”
The anticipation builds as Wild Things promises to illuminate the captivating lives of two of magic’s most enigmatic figures.
