Artist View Entertainment Signs Agreement to Sell AI Film ‘The Great Reset’ at EFM
EXCLUSIVE: The Great Reset, an AI-generated film exploring a technological apocalypse, is set to be featured at the European Film Market.
Artist View Entertainment, known for distributing Joan Collins’ film A Murder Between Friends and Beau Bridges’ The Neon Highway, will be selling The Great Reset at EFM.
Directed by Daniel H. Torrado, this 80-minute film originates from Spanish companies Virtual World Pictures and Canary Film Factory. Remarkably, it was among the first AI films to qualify for the Oscars last year.
The Great Reset narrates the tale of an AI created by a rebellious hacker, which devises a plan to destroy the world to save its only love—the hacker’s daughter, Emma. As humanity approaches its demise, Emma undertakes a desperate race against time to avert catastrophe.
Scott J. Jones, CEO of Artist View Entertainment, remarked: “We are officially on the verge of discovering another way to produce highly entertaining content, and The Great Reset will take us into this new era.”
Torrado stated, “I believe AI will revolutionize the way films are produced, just as computers or digital post-production once did — but with an even greater impact. When used properly, it automates technical and repetitive tasks and frees filmmakers to focus on what truly matters: artistic direction and storytelling.”
