Stars Like Lou Diamond Phillips and Flavor Flav Come Together for a New Faith-Based Drama
EXCLUSIVE: The indie feature One In A Million, filmed in Dallas, has announced the addition of several notable cast members, including Lou Diamond Phillips (Stand and Deliver), Rob Morgan (Mudbound), Flavor Flav, Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Kensington Tallman (Inside Out 2), and Grace Byers (Empire).
Previously revealed cast members include Ashley Greene (Twilight), Russell Quinn (CSI NY), Elizabeth Tabish (The Chosen), Andy Buckley (The Office), and Roxton Garcia (Heels).
Additionally, the production has welcomed Brad Leland (Friday Night Lights), Lucy Martin (Vikings), Ashley Bratcher (Unplanned), Bryan Craig (General Hospital), Harper Heath (Daisy), and Alfonso Spigner (Sistas).
The film tells the true story of the struggle to save Jade Kassis, who was suddenly diagnosed with HLH, a rare and life-threatening blood disorder. As the medical team—featuring Knight, Tabish, Phillips, and Morgan—races against time to combat the aggressive disease, the Kassis family faces an intense emotional and spiritual battle, with Jade’s remarkable journey impacting everyone involved.
Written by Tanner Beard and Cindy Kassis, One In A Million draws from Kassis’ original journals that chronicle her family’s extraordinary medical journey.
Having recently completed principal photography in Dallas, the film’s producers include Tomik Mansoori (Fluxx) and Xander McCabe (The Other) of Silver Sail Entertainment, Tiffany FitzHenry (Mary) of FitzHenry Films, as well as Cindy and Nadeem Kassis through Kassis Productions.
The executive production team features Cindy and Nadeem Kassis, along with Lindy & Barry Heath, Heidi Barton, Troy Teague, John Paul Henderson, Dwayne Taylor, Sandra Boener, and Rodney Davis.
