“It has been a dream for so long to play someone of his heart, humour and heroism. I cannot wait to get started,” Galitzine shared on Instagram following his casting announcement in May 2024.

The film’s narrative will transport viewers between Earth and Eternia. According to the trailer, young Prince Adam is sent from his home planet, Eternia, to Earth for his protection. Living under the alias Adam Glenn, he navigates a mundane office job while dreaming of fantastical realms.
After discovering the mythical Sword of Power, Adam returns to Eternia, only to find his home under the tyrannical rule of Skeletor. To save his family and world, he must team up with allies Teela and Duncan/Man-At-Arms and embrace his destiny as He-Man—“the most powerful man in the universe.”

A stellar cast accompanies Galitzine as He-Man, including Jared Leto portraying his archenemy, Skeletor. In December 2025, Galitzine reflected on the rigorous training required for his He-Man role, describing it as “the hardest thing” he’s ever done. He characterized it as “a daily challenge,” emphasizing the empowering nature of such a commitment.
“It would be insincere for me to say that it was easy,” added Galitzine, who has embraced this demanding transformation for the iconic role.
