Fans of Pink Floyd can revel in the nostalgia as the band celebrates the 50th anniversary of their iconic album Wish You Were Here with an unexpected sportswear collaboration.
The legendary prog-rock band has joined forces with Italian soccer club FC Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan) and Sony Music Italy to launch a new capsule collection for the Pink Floyd Football Club (PFFC), harkening back to the group’s friendly team formed in the 1970s.
The PFFC collection features two exclusive, limited-edition items. The standout is an “anthem jacket,” priced at $290.10 and limited to just 400 numbered pieces. This jacket will be worn by the Nerazzurri players before their match against Cagliari at San Siro on Friday, April 17. Additionally, fans can purchase a bundle that includes an original T-shirt and an exclusive blue vinyl, limited to 1,908 copies and priced at $64.70, along with retro jerseys, scarves, plectrums, drumsticks, tote bags, and more.

The PFFC started in the early ‘70s, featuring band members David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and the late Richard Wright, who played during breaks from their concert tours.
According to a statement, the collection is inspired by an iconic photo of the PFFC taken by Kim Gottlieb-Walker. The blue-and-white retro jersey pays homage to the original shirt seen in the photograph, featuring the PFFC lettering at its center. The back showcases a 50th-anniversary logo for Wish You Were Here, with the sleeves adorned with the Inter logo and Pink Floyd’s famous burning man handshake symbol.
The PFFC merchandise can be found at the official Inter online store and at various Inter Stores in Milan, including Castello and San Siro.
Wish You Were Here continues to resonate, having been the U.K.’s Christmas No. 1 last year, five decades after its initial release. A new digital and physical reissue of the 1975 album features several unreleased alternate versions and demos of tracks like “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” and its title track. It marked Floyd’s second No. 1 album of 2025 after their live release, Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII, topped the charts in May.
“Wish You Were Here” will also be featured on Pink Floyd 8-Tracks, a compilation album set for release on June 5. This album includes eight classics from 1971-79, such as “Money,” “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2,” “Time,” “Comfortably Numb,” and an exclusive full version of “Pigs On The Wing.”
While the music and merchandise continue to thrive, Pink Floyd remains inactive. David Gilmour stated in a 2015 interview with Classic Rock, “I’m done with it,” following the release of what was confirmed to be the band’s final album, The Endless River.
