Dhurandhar Returns to Theaters Worldwide Before the Sequel Premieres
The Indian box office sensation Dhurandhar is set for a rare international re-release tomorrow, just ahead of its sequel’s debut next week.
With Dhurandhar the Revenge scheduled to premiere on March 19, Jio Studios and B62 Studios are reintroducing the original film to 500 screens worldwide, including 250 across India.
In North America, the film will return to theaters in 185 locations.
International re-releases of Hindi films are infrequent, which the distributors of Dhurandhar see as a clear indicator of significant global demand for the title.
Dhurandhar the Revenge will have its U.S. and Canada premiere on Wednesday, March 18, a day before its global launch. Most screenings will take place on large-format screens with luxury seating, formats typically associated with major Hollywood event films.
