The initial teaser offers a glimpse of the pair, who play Emma and Charlie, engaged in a warm-up photo shoot before their wedding. However, their awkward interactions suggest underlying tensions.

Pattinson and Zendaya were spotted together on the set of The Drama in Andover, Massachusetts, in November 2024. Zendaya, who recently became engaged to Tom Holland, was also seen in Boston with him earlier that month.
In a March interview with French magazine Premiere, Pattinson shared insights about his collaborative process with Zendaya. He discussed a particularly challenging scene, revealing, “We had a scene together in it that was driving me crazy. I was desperately looking for its meaning, to the point of writing pages and pages of textual analysis… I ended up calling Zendaya the night before shooting the scene in question.”
He continued, “I shared my doubts with her, I spoke for two hours… and after a while, very calmly, she finally made me understand that the line just said what it meant to say, that there was no hidden meaning.”
Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, who previously worked with Nicolas Cage on Dream Scenario, The Drama also features Alana Haim, Mamoudou Athie, and Hailey Benton Gates.
The film is set to debut in theaters on April 3, 2026.
