British Beauty Queen Passes Away at 21 Following Tragic Accident
Eleisha Skinner, a former Miss Faversham crowned in 2022, has died at the age of 21. The announcement of her death was made by Faversham Carnival Club on January 22, revealing that she passed away on January 8 due to a "tragic accident."
The Faversham Carnival Club shared their condolences in a heartfelt social media post. "We express our deep regret and sadness," the organization stated. They noted Skinner’s service as a dedicated ambassador for Faversham, emphasizing, "Eleisha was a fantastic Ambassador for Faversham and a truly lovely girl. We all have some lovely memories of our time spent with her." A celebration of her life is scheduled for February 6 at Faversham Parish Church at 2:30 p.m.
The emotional post concluded with, "Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this devastating time. Eleisha will be missed by so many."
Tributes flowed in from community members, many recalling her as "lovely" and a "wonderful role model." One individual remembered Skinner as "such a beautiful and caring young lady," noting her welcoming smile. Another commented that her "sparkling personality and dedication will never be forgotten."
While details surrounding the incident have not been disclosed, Skinner’s parents initiated a GoFundMe campaign, aiming to raise funds for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance service. The campaign has successfully reached over 80% of its £4,000 goal (approximately $5,440 USD).
The fundraiser description highlights the family’s gratitude, stating, "With the amazing response of the emergency services, we were able to spend her last few days with her. The air ambulance doctor was fantastic. We would like to raise funds in Eleisha’s name to support this charity, so they can continue the amazing work that they do."
As of now, Skinner’s parents have not commented further on the incident.
