Woman Killed in Hollywood Hills Home Invasion, Authorities Report
Fatal Home Invasion in Hollywood Hills Under Investigation
A woman in her mid-70s was fatally attacked during a home invasion in the Hollywood Hills on Thursday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers arrived at the scene on Lookout Mountain Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. to find the victim had been assaulted and strangled.
Emergency responders transported her to an area hospital; however, the extent of her injuries remains unclear at this time.
The suspects, described as two men wearing hoodies and masks, fled the scene in a white Honda Accord. They reportedly took cash and jewelry, though the total value of the items stolen has not been disclosed.
The LAPD is actively investigating the incident, seeking any information that could lead to the identification and capture of the suspects.
