Wayans Brothers Hint at Possible ‘White Chicks’ Sequel If ‘Scary Movie 6’ Succeeds: “We’re Open to It”
The Wayans brothers are set to make a return to the big screen this summer with Scary Movie 6, and they are already eyeing a sequel to their 2004 hit, White Chicks.
In a recent interview, Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans expressed that a sequel could be in the works if Scary Movie 6 achieves box office success following its premiere on June 5.
“I’ll put it this way; we’re game,” Marlon told Entertainment Tonight. “We want to know if people will come out and laugh. If they wanna come see Scary Movie, then I definitely—”
Shawn Wayans also emphasized the possibility during discussions about their appearance in Scary Movie 6, stating, “If this movie does well, a White Chicks 2 can happen.”

Amid these developments, Scary Movie 6 star Anna Faris mentioned her enthusiasm for a potential role in White Chicks 2, revealing that she has “pitched myself” for the part.

Marlon humorously commented on Faris’s potential involvement, saying, “I don’t know, she’s a little too expensive for us,” to which Shawn quipped, “Well, we’ll pay her less.”
The cast of Scary Movie 6 includes Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans, Heidi Gardner, Chris Elliott, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, and Anthony Anderson, ensuring a robust lineup for the anticipated film.
In addition to teases about a White Chicks sequel, Marlon has hinted at a potential follow-up to their 1996 classic, Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.
