Walton Goggins Talks Reuniting with ‘White Lotus’ Co-Star in ‘Fallout’: A Family-Like Connection
In a striking contrast from a luxurious Thai resort to a dystopian American wasteland, Walton Goggins made headlines this week by reuniting with a notable co-star in the latest episode of Fallout.
During the Season 2 premiere earlier this month, the Golden Globe nominee reflected on his onscreen collaboration with The White Lotus actor Jon Gries, who portrays New California Republic soldier Biff in the episode titled ‘The Profligate,’ now streaming on Prime Video.
“Jon is a very dear friend of mine,” Goggins stated on the red carpet. “Whenever you work with someone like Mike White or anyone from that community of actors or crew, it feels like family.”
He emphasized the joy of reconnecting, noting, “And Jon just happened to be a friend of mine long before we did that, so it was so good to see him.”
Goggins recently received his first Golden Globe nomination for his role in Season 3 of The White Lotus. His character, Rick, reluctantly dines with Gries’ character, Gary, after their partners, Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) and Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon), form a friendship. Gary, previously known as Greg, married heiress Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) before allegedly orchestrating her demise.

Goggins added, “On the other side of a calamity, different political parties are formed, different affiliations are made, and you just try to remake it the way that you want to see it run.”
