Taylor Swift Unveils Official Trailer for Eras Tour: The Final Show
Taylor Swift has released the official trailer for Eras Tour: The Final Show, spotlighting her entire set from ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ The concert film, recorded during the last performance of her record-breaking tour in Vancouver, B.C., is set to stream exclusively on Disney+ starting December 12.
The film will be accompanied by a six-episode docuseries titled The End of an Era, which also premieres on December 12. Disney+ will release the first two episodes of the docuseries, followed by two episodes each week.
The trailer showcases intimate moments from the Eras Tour, including insights from notable figures such as Sabrina Carpenter, Travis Kelce, Ed Sheeran, Florence Welch, and Gracie Abrams, along with Swift’s band, dancers, crew, and family members. The docuseries promises an in-depth look at the monumental effort behind the tour.
“I’m very aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control of,” Swift states in the trailer, as she enters the stage on a cleaning cart. “This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once. There’s something very special about that.”
Swift’s mother, Andrea, shares her thoughts on Kelce, saying, “Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness.” In a phone conversation, Swift reflects on their similar lives, stating, “We basically have the same job,” to which Kelce responds, “You have Coach Reid, I have my mom.”
In addition to the trailer release, ABC has announced a special preview event, featuring the first episode of The End of an Era, along with a one-hour presentation of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show. This event will air on December 12 at 8 p.m. EST.
Eras Tour: The Final Show, filmed in Vancouver, showcases the entire set of The Tortured Poets Department, which was incorporated into the tour following the album’s release in 2024. The concert film and docuseries are directed by notable filmmakers Don Argott, Sheena M. Joyce, Glenn Weiss, and produced by various production companies.
As anticipation builds for the December premiere, fans can look forward to a unique glimpse into the artistry and experiences behind Swift’s celebrated Eras Tour.
