ITN Productions Expands Global Reach with Executive Promotions
ITN Productions (ITNP), known for its high-profile projects including Prince Harry: The Interview and Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy, is poised for growth in India and the Middle East. In a strategic move to bolster its global presence, the company has announced the promotions of two key executives.
Caroline Short has been elevated to Head of Global TV, while Georgina Mantle steps into the role of Global Creative Director. This restructuring aims to align with ITNP’s vision of becoming a global content powerhouse. The company’s leadership acknowledged that many of its current development projects feature narratives originating in the UK that possess broad international appeal.
ITNP seeks to establish a "single, coordinated view of globally focused development across the business," reflecting its intent to expand beyond its UK base. Recently, the studio has been producing more content for U.S. platforms and is particularly focused on opportunities in India and the Middle East. Future efforts may include both the sale of shows and new productions in these regions, leveraging digital advancements and fresh investments. Recently, ITNP announced the launch of a new digital division led by former ITV Studios’ digital channels director, George Cudmore.
Additionally, Gorana Jelovina has been promoted to Deputy Head of Development, collaborating closely with Dan Gilmore, Head of Development. John Keyes assumes full responsibility for secondary sales and distribution, overseeing ITNP’s interactions with distributors as well as managing the company’s extensive back catalog.
Ian Rumsey, Managing Director of Content at ITN, expressed confidence in the new appointees, stating, “Caroline and Georgina are forces of nature. We’re fortunate to have them, and I’m delighted to give their amazing talents even greater scope and scale as we push into new markets and expand our global slate.”
