- In 2001, Gill and Grant welcomed their daughter, Corrina Grant Gill.
Vince Gill and Amy Grant have created a blended family, uniting their previous families into one.
Grant shares three children—Matthew Garrison Chapman, Gloria Mills "Millie" Long, and Sarah Cannon Besenius—from her marriage to musician Gary Chapman, whom she wed in 1982 and divorced in 1999.
Similarly, Gill shares his daughter, Jennifer "Jenny" Jerene Gill, with ex-wife Janis Oliver. After ending their previous relationships, Gill and Grant became engaged in 2000, seven years after they first met. Their daughter, Corrina, was born later that same year.
When Grant revealed their relationship to The Tennessean in 1998, she recounted how her daughter Millie was perceptive enough to sense the romance before it was publicly acknowledged. “I kind of took a breath and said, ‘He is, honey. Yeah,’” Grant recalled.
Blending their families posed challenges initially. Grant noted that during their wedding in a 2013 interview on Katie Couric, she and Gill were "the only excited ones." Reflecting on that day, she humorously mentioned that all the wedding photographs featured her "grim-faced children." “It just takes time, and it’s okay to let it,” she remarked.
The arrival of Corrina in 2001 transformed the family dynamic. “She’s the glue of this whole family,” Gill shared with AARP The Magazine in 2011, highlighting the strong connections she fostered among family members.
The family is preparing to celebrate as Gill will be honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 CMA Awards on November 19.

Jenny Gill was born in 1982 to Gill and his ex-wife, Janis Oliver, of the music duo Sweethearts of the Rodeo. Following in her parents’ footsteps, she pursued a career in country music and released her debut EP, The House Sessions, in 2017, produced by her father.
“Being a granddaddy is maybe the most peaceful thing in the world I have ever felt,” Gill shared in a 2015 interview, reflecting on the joys of grandparenthood.

Matthew, Grant’s eldest child, was born in 1987. In 2016, he co-founded a cannabis business called LabCanna and plays a key role as its president and chief technology officer. Matthew often reflects on his unconventional upbringing, noting the influence of his mother’s creative career.

Millie was born in 1989 and inspired the lyrics of Grant’s hit song "Baby Baby." The song’s lyrics emerged one day as Grant reflected on her newborn daughter. In 2017, Millie made headlines by donating a kidney to her best friend.
“Millie’s choice to donate was remarkable. I couldn’t believe it,” Grant said. Their bond remains a strong highlight in their lives.

In 2023, Corrina released her debut EP, Here For Holding, which reflects her musical journey and dedication to her family and friends.
