Celebrity Event Planner Decks Out Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s Home for the Holidays
Celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss has transformed the Los Angeles residence of newlyweds Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco into a festive winter wonderland. In a post shared on December 14, Weiss showcased the couple’s holiday decorations, featuring three evergreen trees and an elaborate winter village display.
Weiss described the project as a “dream” to create a vintage-style Christmas tree and a “fantasy” to build the accompanying village, emphasizing the joy it brought her to design these festive elements for Gomez and Blanco.
The couple, who wed on September 27, entrusted Weiss with the task of bringing their holiday vision to life. Known for her high-profile events, including Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration, Weiss captured the couple’s excitement in an Instagram Reel released on December 15. The video begins with Gomez standing in the kitchen, as Blanco asks from behind the camera, “Are you ready to see the tree?” The couple then walks to their living area, where a colorful, vintage-inspired evergreen stands prominently.

Details adorned the tree, including silver tinsel and a vintage train set circling its base. Gomez expressed her delight over the sparkling tree skirt, noting how it matched her nails.
Throughout the video, Blanco also showcased a second tree adorned with food-shaped ornaments. “Milk, a little bagel, cheese, ham, seafood tower, shrimp,” he listed, highlighting a pickle-shaped ornament in tribute to Gomez’s favorite snack.

Gomez’s glam room featured a third tree, decorated in frosted white to resemble fresh snow. With pink and purple lights, it held ornaments shaped like purses and hair tools, sparking Gomez’s enthusiastic reaction when Blanco asked, “Do you like the glam room tree?”
Last but not least, the couple’s winter village captured attention with a replica of the Rosebud Hotel from the sitcom Schitt’s Creek. Complete with a skating rink, tavern, and various holiday-themed shops, the display reflected Weiss’s creative ambition.

“Well, I can check off my dream to create a fun vintage-inspired Christmas tree and my absolute fantasy to build a Christmas/Hanukkah village! Seriously, a big vision board dream,” Weiss wrote in her post, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the couple.
The video gained attention from fans and celebrities alike, including Ashlee Simpson Ross, who commented, “This is amazing, Mindy!!!! I love it.”
Prior to this display, Gomez and Blanco had shared glimpses of their decorating process, celebrating their first Christmas as a married couple. One affectionate moment captured Gomez placing decorations on the tree, followed by a sweet kiss with her husband.
