Tracker Welcomes Kathleen Robertson and Mark Engelhardt to the Cast
New Cast Additions for ‘Tracker’ Series
In an exciting development for CBS’s hit series Tracker, actors Kathleen Robertson and Mark Engelhardt will be joining the cast in recurring roles. They will appear alongside Justin Hartley and Fiona Rene in the popular crime drama, which is based on Jeffery Deaver’s bestselling novel, The Never Game.
Tracker features Hartley as Colter Shaw, a solitary survivalist who travels the country as a reward seeker. His character employs expert tracking skills to assist private citizens and law enforcement in solving various mysteries while grappling with personal family issues, as outlined in the official logline.
In the aftermath of last season’s dramatic finale, Colter is confronted with unsettling truths about his family’s past. With the support of his trusted team, he must navigate these revelations to focus on his core mission: finding the missing and claiming rewards by leveraging his instincts and skills.
Robertson will portray Maxine, a prominent attorney at a major law firm. She seeks to engage Reenie (played by Fiona Rene) in what she describes as simple grunt work for an upcoming class action suit. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Maxine may have ulterior motives. Engelhardt’s character, Emile Lang, is depicted as a man driven by his own moral code—cold, calculating, and methodical.
In this Sunday’s episode, Colter’s old friend Keaton enlists his help to find a former partner, leading them to uncover a series of bodies and a deep-rooted conspiracy.
Executive producers for the series include Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid, Connie Dolphin, Sharon Lee Watson, and Alex Katsnelson. The show is produced by 20th Television.
Robertson, noted for her previous work on the contemporary series adaptation of Swimming with Sharks, has recently completed a recurring role in the fourth season of Amazon’s Reacher. She is recognized for her performances in The Expanse, Murder in the First, and Bates Motel.
Engelhardt is best known for his roles in American Horror Story: Asylum, Major Crimes, NCIS, LA’s Finest, and more recently, General Hospital. His credits also include guest appearances on CSI: Vegas and Code Black.
