Paris holds a special significance for *NCIS: Tony & Ziva*, as it is where popular characters Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo and Ziva David, portrayed by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, respectively, were reunited. In the storyline, the characters co-parent their daughter in the city, leading a serene life until Tony is falsely accused of a crime.
The series saw strong performance on the M6 network and its streaming service in France after being widely sold overseas by Paramount.
This event comes just a month after the show’s cancellation following its inaugural season on Paramount+. The cancellation prompted an immediate fan-driven campaign to revive the series, including a billboard near Times Square urging Paramount to reconsider its decision. Weatherly expressed gratitude to fans, acknowledging their support was moving.
Additional signs appeared across Paris and high-traffic areas in Los Angeles, signifying widespread support among fans.
*Tony & Ziva*, which premiered on September 4, 2025, appeared among Luminate’s Top 10 streaming series from September 5 to 11.
The show’s first season featured Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Terence Maynard, and James D’Arcy. The series, which enjoyed international sales, is executive produced by McNamara, de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas, with CBS Studios as the producer.
