Weeks after the tragic loss of one of her twin daughters due to complications from a placental abruption during birth, Tineke “Tini” Younger has provided an update for her fans regarding her and her surviving daughter, L (baby b).
“Just wanted to hop on socials real quick and just let everyone know L (baby b) is doing good, we love her so much,” Younger, 24, stated in an Instagram post accompanied by photos of her newborn.
Younger continued, “We remind her every day about Arya and Arya definitely plays with her sister in her dreams, L loves to smile in her sleep. ❤️👼🏽 I’m not sure when I will be back, I’m still emotionally and physically trying to heal. I’ve had some complications during my postpartum, which I’m still trying to recover from.”
She concluded her post by expressing gratitude to those who have sent their love and support.
Younger first announced the death of Arya (Baby A) in a Facebook post dated November 26, stating, “This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came; unfortunately, earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A).”

In her emotional message, she reflected on the close call with her twins, saying, “We made it to almost 36 weeks; we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term, but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl. Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own.”
She emphasized the beauty of both girls and stated, “Arya will always be celebrated; her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister. I will be taking a break, not sure for how long, but I promise I will be back. I love you guys.”
In a series of poignant black-and-white photos, Younger and her husband, Antoine Wright Jr., are seen holding baby Arya in the hospital, capturing their grief and love.

Placental abruption occurs when the placenta separates from the uterine wall before delivery, leading to compromised oxygen and nutrient supply to the baby and potentially causing heavy bleeding in the mother, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Younger, renowned for her YouTube series “From Scratch with Tini,” had previously announced her pregnancy with twins in June 2025.
