The World Premiere of ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Will Be Live Streamed on Disney+ and Hulu
The Devil Wears Prada 2 will have its world premiere live-streamed globally on Disney+ and Hulu on Monday, April 20, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET, with a full replay available after the event.
Stars Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are set to reprise their roles in the highly anticipated sequel, granting Disney+ and Hulu subscribers an exclusive view of the glamorous red-carpet event at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Joining Streep and Hathaway on the red carpet will be notable figures including Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, director David Frankel, and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna, among others.
The live streaming experience will showcase fashion moments featuring the cast, celebrity arrivals, interviews, and various surprises throughout the evening.

Leading up to the world premiere, Streep and Hathaway have embarked on an international promotional tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2. On March 30, the pair held a red carpet premiere at the Anahuacalli Museum in Mexico City, engaging with fans during a Q&A session at Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul. Further, on April 8, they participated in a press conference at the Four Seasons in Seoul, South Korea.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1. Set two decades after the original film, Streep, Hathaway, Blunt, and Tucci return to capture the essence of their iconic characters against the backdrop of New York City and the chic offices of Runway Magazine in 20th Century Studios’ sequel.
The film is directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, with production led by Wendy Finerman and executive production from Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and Aline Brosh McKenna.
