School Bus Stolen Two Weeks Ago Recovered by Authorities

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced on Friday that a school bus stolen two weeks prior has been successfully recovered.

The bus, owned by a private school transportation company, was located thanks to aerial surveillance from a sheriff’s department helicopter.

After monitoring the bus’s movements for several minutes, deputies conducted a traffic stop and detained the female driver in Whittier, close to the Washington exit on the 605 Freeway. NewsChopper4 captured footage showing the driver being questioned by law enforcement officials.

Importantly, authorities confirmed that no children were on board at the time of the recovery.
