Teenagers Arrested for Reckless Riding in Beverly Hills
Two teenagers were taken into custody at their high school after allegedly recklessly riding electric motorcycles and evading police in Beverly Hills last year, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD).
The minors reportedly traversed the city on their electric motorcycles, executing dangerous stunts that raised concerns for public safety. The BHPD emphasized the risks associated with such reckless behavior, highlighting that it endangers pedestrians and other drivers.
On December 10, 2025, officers attempted to apprehend the individuals, but they fled the scene. After a thorough four-month investigation, police were able to identify the suspects and arrested them on Thursday at Culver City High School with assistance from the Culver City Police Department.
"BHPD reminds the community that electric motorcycles, while increasingly popular, can pose significant safety risks when operated irresponsibly," the police stated. They urged all riders to exercise caution, wear appropriate safety gear, and adhere to traffic regulations.
