Netflix Announces Premiere Date for ‘I Will Find You’ Limited Series
Netflix has scheduled the premiere of its new limited series, I Will Find You, for June 18. The series features Sam Worthington in the lead role and is based on the bestselling novel by Harlan Coben. Alongside the announcement, the streaming service released the first trailer and several exclusive images from the show.
Created by Robert Hull, I Will Find You follows the story of David Burroughs, portrayed by Worthington. David is an innocent father serving a life sentence for the murder of his son, a crime for which he bears daily torment. When new evidence suggests that his child might still be alive, David faces the daunting challenge of escaping prison to uncover the truth.
In the recently unveiled trailer, David is shown a photograph of a boy who bears an uncanny resemblance to his son. "Matthew’s out there. I’m gonna find him and bring him home," he vows.
Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, Erin Richards, Chi McBride, and Jonathan Tucker also star in the series. Guest appearances include Hugh Thompson, Peter Outerbridge, Christopher Redman, Eric Johnson, Greg Bryk, Kate Vernon, Tara Rosling, Darrin Baker, Aaron Ashmore, Nicola Correia-Damude, Rachel Wilson, Billy MacLellan, Clancy Brown, and Madeleine Stowe.
Robert Hull serves as the creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the series. Executive producers include Bryan Wynbrandt, Steven Lilien, John Weber, and Brad Anderson, with John G. Lenic and Heather Mitchell serving as co-executive producers. Various directors, including Brad Anderson, Maja Vrvilo, Adam Davidson, and Maggie Kelly, contribute to the series, while Wynbrandt, Lilien, and Mitchell also participate as writers.
