Queen Latifah Joins the Coaching Panel for Season 30 of The Voice
In an exciting development for fans of The Voice, NBC has announced that Grammy Award-winner Queen Latifah will join the show as a coach for its 30th season.
Latifah brings a wealth of experience to the competition, joining returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine, as well as newcomer Riley Green. This will mark her first season as a coach, although she has lent her expertise as a guest judge on various other talent competitions, including America’s Got Talent.
Renowned for hit songs like "Ladies First" and "U.N.I.T.Y," Queen Latifah is not only a celebrated musician but also a prominent figure in film and television. Her notable roles include starring in Fox’s Living Single, hosting The Queen Latifah Show, and starring in the film Bessie. More recently, she has gained acclaim for her role in CBS’s action drama The Equalizer.
Season 29 recently wrapped up with Clarkson, Levine, and John Legend serving as coaches. The upcoming 30th season, set to premiere in the fall, will also feature special appearances from former coaches and mentors.
