Pink Clarifies Rumors About Her Relationship with Carey Hart: It’s Just False News
Pink Addresses Rumors of Separation from Carey Hart
Pink has dismissed "fake news" reports claiming she and her husband, Carey Hart, have separated after two decades of marriage. The singer shared a playful video on Instagram, humorously addressing the rumors while in her kitchen.
"I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband — I didn’t know," Pink quipped sarcastically in the clip posted on Thursday. "Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering, would you also like to tell our children?"
She went on to shift the conversation toward pressing issues, mentioning topics like the Epstein files, systemic racism, and the achievements of female athletes at this year’s Olympics. "Or do you wanna talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock & Roll motherf—in’ Hall of Fame?" she added.
Concluding her remarks, Pink firmly stated, "Fake news, not true," and criticized the media for spreading what she labeled as "trash news."
Rumors of a split began circulating earlier that day, citing an unnamed source as their basis. Pink and Hart first met at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia and started dating later that year. They became engaged in 2005 and married in a ceremony in Costa Rica in 2006.
The couple experienced a brief separation in 2008 but reunited in 2009. They share two children: a daughter named Willow, born in 2011, and a son named Jameson, born in 2016.
Reflecting on their journey together, Pink celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with Hart in January 2025, expressing gratitude for their enduring relationship. "You’ve been my one constant. You have loved me, hated me, and loved me again. I love our story no matter what gets written," she wrote on Instagram.
Hart has spoken about the couple’s enduring partnership, noting in 2023 that he remains largely unaffected by the songs Pink writes about him, thanks to his "very thick skin."
In recent months, Pink has frequently posted about Hart on social media, showcasing their family life. On New Year’s Eve, she shared a personal reflection from a hospital bed after sustaining a neck injury, emphasizing the importance of self-care and positivity.
Pink last released new music in 2023 with her album Trustfall, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, marking her ninth top-10 entry. Recently, she was nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, joining a roster of distinguished nominees for 2026, including Mariah Carey and the Wu-Tang Clan.
