Pete Davidson Gets a New Face Tattoo for His Daughter After Investing $200K in Tattoo Removal
Pete Davidson recently showcased a new face tattoo dedicated to his daughter, Scottie, during the Amazon MGM Studios CinemaCon 2026 presentation on April 15 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The comedian, known for his time on Saturday Night Live, debuted the tattoo, which features Scottie’s name in bold, capital letters near his ear, just below his sunglasses. This marks Davidson and his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt’s, first child, born in December 2025.
At the event, Davidson sported a laid-back outfit, consisting of a red T-shirt, grey sweatpants, a black baseball cap, and sunglasses, while promoting his upcoming film, How to Rob a Bank. The comedy heist film, set to be released on September 4, follows a group of criminal YouTubers, led by Nicholas Hoult’s character, who have amassed a following of 31 million online. The ensemble cast also includes Zoë Kravitz, John C. Reilly, and Christian Slater. Davidson’s character expresses that their intentions are to donate the money they steal to a genuine cause, humorously noting, “And it has to be a real one, OnlyFans is not a charity.”
Beyond his professional endeavors, Davidson has embraced fatherhood while undergoing an extensive tattoo removal process that began in 2020. He shared candid thoughts about this experience in a January 2025 interview on Today, stating, “I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror and I was like, ‘Nah. Who that?’ I was like, ‘I got to change it up a little bit.’” Though he acknowledged the difficulties of tattoo removal, he urged others considering tattoos to be sure of their decisions, stating, “It’s pretty terrible, so if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it.”
According to a report from People, Davidson has spent $200,000 on tattoo removal over the years, eliminating numerous designs on his arms, hands, and neck. Reflecting on his new role as a father, he described Scottie as “the biggest gift,” revealing that his priorities have shifted significantly. “Nothing else matters as much or intensely,” he said in a January 2026 interview, emphasizing a newfound perspective on balancing career aspirations with family commitments.
