One Chicago Announces Exciting Crossover Event for ‘Med,’ ‘Fire,’ and ‘P.D.’ in 2026
The One Chicago Universe will reunite with a highly anticipated crossover event featuring NBC’s Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. set for March 4, 2026, from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT.
As with previous crossover events, NBC has announced a change in the airing order. The evening will commence with Chicago Fire, followed by Chicago Med, and conclude with Chicago P.D..
NBC provided an official logline for the crossover: “Firehouse 51 is called to an airfield when a passenger jet suddenly goes silent mid-air, triggering a high-stakes emergency. Their discovery cracks open a bigger and deadlier mystery—one with consequences that could ripple far beyond the runway and put countless lives in jeopardy.”
Fans have long cherished these One Chicago crossover nights, which were paused since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic. The event made its return in the previous season.
The trio of shows remains a ratings powerhouse for NBC on Wednesday nights, consistently ranking as the No. 1 drama series among total viewers and in the adults 18-49 demographic. This season, the franchise has attracted nearly 32 million viewers across all platforms.
All three Chicago series are produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in collaboration with Wolf Entertainment.
