Noah Cyrus and Mom Tish Share a Heartfelt Christmas Eve Dinner with a Homeless Man

The Cyrus family’s 2024 Christmas Eve was memorable, as shared by matriarch Tish Cyrus Purcell during a recent episode of her podcast, Sorry We’re Cyrus. Tish recounted how she, along with daughter Noah Cyrus and Noah’s fiancé Pinkus, connected with an unhoused man and included him in their festive celebration.
Tish, 58, noted that last Christmas Eve was spent making a turkey dinner before the trio ventured out for ice cream in the Toluca Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, where they met a man named Benjamin.
“We asked if he had had Christmas dinner, or if he wanted an ice cream,” Tish recalled. “He said that he hadn’t had Christmas dinner, and that he would also love an ice cream.”
After purchasing ice cream for Benjamin, Pinkus stayed to chat with him while Tish and Noah returned home to prepare a hearty Christmas meal.
Upon their return, the group encountered an open bar, leading Tish to buy everyone a round of champagne as Benjamin dined. “We had the best time with this man. Him and I were dancing and drinking champagne. Pinkus was just in shock, but Noah went all in,” she described. “We were there until about 1 a.m. Then we wanted to make sure he had a place to stay, so we took him and paid for his hotel for the weekend.”

Reflecting on the night, she said, “It was honestly so good, and that makes me so happy to think about that. That was part of my Christmas last year, and it was really special. It was so much fun.”
Noah, who announced her engagement to Pinkus, a German fashion designer, in 2023, expressed excitement about their future together. She noted, “My relationship now is a true partnership. It’s something that I hold really close to us — and also hold our privacy very close to us. The journey of it all has been very beautiful, and something that I’m very happy with and very grateful for is our relationship.”
In November, Noah explained that wedding plans have been delayed due to Pinkus’s relocation process from Germany to the U.S. “It’s just a lot of moving parts when someone is moving their life from a different country, so we’re going through all that process,” she said during an interview on the Zach Sang Show.
Tish married actor Dominic Purcell in 2023. She is also the mother of daughters Miley, 33, and Brandi, 38, and sons Trace, 36, and Braison, 31, whom she raised with ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus.
