### Minaj Expresses Support for Trump at Investment Accounts Summit
On January 28, 2026, rapper Nicki Minaj voiced her support for President Donald Trump at the Trump Accounts Summit held in Washington, D.C. Minaj expressed enthusiasm for Trump’s initiative to establish investment accounts for U.S.-born children, which aims to deposit $1,000 for each child born between 2025 and 2028.
Minaj, who plans to contribute between $150,000 and $300,000 to the accounts, stated, “I am probably the president’s No. 1 fan, and that’s not going to change.” She emphasized that the criticism she has faced for her open allegiance only serves to strengthen her support. “The hate— or what people have to say— it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more,” she remarked.
In a rallying call, Minaj added, “We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him. He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?”

The Trump Accounts initiative is part of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” and aims to provide every U.S. citizen born within certain dates with a government seed contribution. Each account will begin with $1,000, and contributions can reach up to $5,000 annually, with funds managed through a broad stock market index.
These funds will not be accessible until the account holders reach 18, with projections suggesting they could accumulate to approximately $1.9 million by the time beneficiaries turn 28 if fully funded.
Minaj’s appearance at the summit marks her continued support for the MAGA movement. She previously spoke at the United Nations in November 2025 regarding religious violence, as a guest of the Trump administration, and has expressed admiration for Trump’s efforts in various contexts.
In response to the ongoing support from influential figures like Minaj, Trump has noted the philanthropic actions of donors contributing to the accounts, including significant pledges from personalities like Dell Technologies founder Michael Dell, who announced a $6 billion donation last December.
