Moby has announced he will donate all proceeds from his performances at Coachella 2026 to four animal rights organizations. The artist made the announcement on April 16 through social media, stating, “My main job in life is working as an animal rights activist, and to that end my hope is to use the revenue and attention from my Coachella show to draw attention to, and financially support, animal rights organizations.”
His first performance took place on April 10 at the festival, where he delivered an acclaimed set in the Mojave Tent. A highlight of his performance included a rendition of his classic track “Natural Blues,” featuring vocalist Jacob Lusk.
Moby is scheduled to return to the Mojave Tent on April 17 for the festival’s second weekend. Those unable to attend in person can watch the performance via the festival’s YouTube livestream.
The proceeds from these performances will support the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Humane League, Mercy for Animals, and Direct Action Everywhere. Moby emphasized the unique contributions of these organizations, noting, “To be clear, there are hundreds if not thousands of amazing animal rights organizations, but I just wanted to focus on these four for now.”
A committed animal rights activist, Moby encapsulated his philosophy in his social media post, reinforcing his belief that “every sentient being is entitled to live their life according to their will.”
