Mel Robbins Debuts New Look Ahead of Golden Globes
Mel Robbins, a well-known author and podcaster, showcased a fresh style in recent appearances, signaling a departure from her signature look as she prepares for her Golden Globes debut. On January 10, Robbins appeared at an event honoring nominees for the upcoming awards, having shed her typical black frames and all-black outfits.
Robbins, famous for her self-help philosophy known as the "Let Them" theory, has been making waves recently as her podcast, “The Mel Robbins Podcast,” has secured a nomination for Best Podcast at the Golden Globes.
At a recent event hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify, Robbins, now 57, was spotted without her trademark black wide-rimmed glasses, which have become synonymous with her public persona. Instead, she opted for gold aviator frames, complementing an oversized white blazer and striking silver disco ball pants, a bold departure from her usual monochrome style.

At another event, the Golden Eve celebration on January 6, Robbins maintained her classic style, appearing in her signature black frames alongside a Khaite gown. Her daughter, Kendall, complemented her in a vintage Saint Laurent dress, reinforcing the mother-daughter fashion theme of the evening.

Notably, Robbins is among several social media influencers nominated in the inaugural Golden Globes podcast category, alongside notable names such as Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, and SmartLess.
As a No. 1 New York Times bestselling author, Robbins has recently garnered attention for her "Let Them" theory, which encourages individuals to relinquish control for greater emotional peace. This concept was further expounded in her December 2024 book, The Let Them Theory: A Life-Changing Tool That Millions of People Can’t Stop Talking About.
The “Let Them” concept promotes the idea that allowing others to act freely fosters better relationships and a sense of personal empowerment. Robbins emphasizes that understanding one’s own power is essential in navigating life’s challenges.
