Margot Robbie Stuns in a Unique Hair Dress at the London Premiere of ‘Wuthering Heights’
Margot Robbie Stuns at London Premiere of Wuthering Heights
Margot Robbie made a striking entrance at the London premiere of Wuthering Heights on February 5, captivating attendees with her eye-catching gown described as sheer and sculpted, “made out of hair.”
The 35-year-old actress showcased her fashion-forward aesthetic in a custom Dilara Findikoglu creation, which hugged her figure with expert corset-like precision. The gown featured intricate braided strands that crisscrossed her torso, elegantly framing her bust and cinching her waist. From the side, the floor-length dress revealed a breathtaking detail: an exposed spine delicately traced with woven hair, culminating in a textured, frayed finish at the lower back.

Robbie completed her look with a braided choker and minimal jewelry, including dangling earrings by Jessica McCormack, while her hair was styled in an elegant updo adorned with soft, curled strands framing her face.
On the red carpet, Robbie spoke about her striking outfit. “It’s more of a creation. You’re not even getting the full effect of it, but it’s made out of hair,” she shared with Who What Wear. She explained that the design was inspired by a bracelet made from the hair of Charlotte Brontë’s loved ones, adding, “It was a Victorian thing to make jewelry out of hair of loved ones.”
Robbie’s fashion choices have often turned heads, notably during the Los Angeles premiere of Wuthering Heights on January 28, where she donned an ombré Schiaparelli gown. This strapless design included a sheer bodice with black lace and a dramatic bow on her back, alongside a midsection in black that flared into a cherry-red hem.
She further elevated her ensemble with the historic Cartier Taj Mahal necklace, previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor, which fetched $8.8 million at auction in 2011. Robbie remarked, “This necklace and the diamond itself has a pretty incredible history and feels like a very romantic history, so it felt appropriate to match with our Schiaparelli gown.”
In Wuthering Heights, Robbie plays Catherine Earnshaw, opposite Jacob Elordi, who portrays Heathcliff. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she recounted the enthusiasm of her friends while watching a screening of the film, noting they were “frothing at the mouth” when Jacob appeared on screen. “Honestly, I was like, if he walked in right now, I think they would eat him,” Robbie humorously stated.
The much-anticipated adaptation of Wuthering Heights is set to hit theaters on Valentine’s Day, February 14.
