NEED TO KNOW
- Hailey Louise Williams, wife of Seattle Seahawks star Leonard Williams, is 36 weeks pregnant with their first child.
- She informs that the Super Bowl coincides with her last weekend to travel, expressing confidence that “this team is going to win.”
- Hailey believes her unborn child is aware of the stakes and is “rooting for the Seahawks as well.”
Hailey Louise Williams is set to bring a significant guest to Super Bowl LX. The 36-year-old breathwork facilitator and meditation teacher, married to Seattle Seahawks defensive end Leonard Williams, recently shared that she is 36 weeks pregnant, making the upcoming game one of the last opportunities she has to travel by plane.
Although the couple has been focused on football, Hailey noted that their attention will soon shift to their baby, due in the second week of March. “Everything is prepared for the baby. The nursery’s done; I got the car seat and stroller. We have the crib, and everything’s ready to go,” she stated. She added, “Right now, we’re focusing on football. Leo’s doing his best to support me with all the emotions that come up because emotions do arise in pregnancy.”

Fortunately, Hailey’s family resides in San Francisco, where this year’s Super Bowl will be held, providing her with an additional support system. Expressing her gratitude, she said, “I feel a deep sense of gratitude to be able to share these moments with my little one.”
Hailey explained that her pregnancy has encouraged her to slow down. “I’m so happy the baby chose my husband and me at this time to come into our lives and deepen this experience in ways that we couldn’t have even imagined before, when it was just us two,” she reflected.
She also shared that her baby often kicks during games, adding to the experience. “It’s like right when I sit still, that’s when they’re like, ‘Why aren’t you rocking me to sleep?’ Especially at Lumen Field, because it’s so loud, I think they are like, ‘What’s happening out there?’ I like to think that they know what’s going on and are rooting for the Seahawks as well,” she noted.

Hailey’s family, including her father, Ronnie Lott, a Super Bowl winner, will join her at the game, much like they did for the NFC Championship on January 25. Following the Seahawks’ victory against the Los Angeles Rams, Hailey celebrated with Leonard on the field amidst confetti. “Being able to be on the field was such a moment that we’ll never forget,” she reflected. “It makes it even more meaningful for us because I know we’ll get to say, ‘Oh, you were there along the way with us.’”
She expressed admiration for the team, noting a unique bond among the players. “There’s a connection on this team that I haven’t seen before, and my husband says, ‘It’s like there’s no ego.’ I feel like this team definitely feels special,” she stated, highlighting her excitement for them to achieve their goals.
Describing her feelings ahead of the Super Bowl, Hailey conveyed a blend of “excitement” and a sense of being in a “whirlwind.” “Everything’s happening so fast, and there are moments that we’ll never forget,” she shared, emphasizing the importance of being present in such a fleeting experience.
While she usually meets Leonard before every game, Hailey expects their pregame ritual will differ this time, as she won’t be able to join him on the field. “We will normally pray for him before the game,” she explained. Instead, she plans to pray over him by phone, followed by sending text prayers during the game.

As she anticipates the upcoming game, Hailey emphasizes the significance of her meditation and breathwork training. “We’ll do the things we need to when we can, but for now, how can we enjoy this moment? How can we be grateful for what’s here now?” she reflected. “I feel it’s helping me, and I hope it benefits my husband as well.”
With firm belief in her husband’s team, she expressed hope for their success at the Super Bowl, stating, “I think this team is going to win.” While ultimately surrendering the outcome to a higher power, she added, “I’m really excited to see how it happens, and they could do anything they put their minds to.”
The Seattle Seahawks will face the New England Patriots on February 8 for a chance to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
