LeAnn Rimes is once again sharing insights into her health journey, following her candid updates on a dental issue last year. The country-pop singer has remained open about her wellness pursuits.
In a recent Instagram video, Rimes documented her experience undergoing a plasma exchange at Next Health in Nashville. She explained that the treatment aims to “clear micro-toxins, such as mold and microplastics” and to “encourage overall repair” of her stem cells.
“Listening to my body and choosing what feels supportive for this season of healing, especially after a very busy year of filming 9-1-1: Nashville and touring,” she wrote. “I demand so much from my body, and it’s incredibly important to me to take the best care of it I possibly can.”
Rimes also expressed awareness of the disparity in access to such treatments. “I share with sensitivity and humility, not as a prescription, but as information about what’s been working for me,” she noted.
According to Next Health’s website, the Therapeutic Plasma Exchange treatment is categorized as a “longevity treatment” and costs $10,000 at the Nashville location.
Rimes has faced a busy performance schedule in recent months. Notably, during a concert in June, her front dental bridge fell out while she was on stage, prompting her to leave the performance momentarily before returning.
She kept her followers informed by posting an Instagram video shortly after the incident, humorously recounting, “There wasn’t a f–king thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in and sing, so I just ran with it.”
In an October interview with Billboard, Rimes reflected on the stage incident, saying, “I realized at that moment I could either quit — I’m four songs in — which I thought I was going to have to unless I was able to hold [the bridge] in.” She added, “But luckily, I was able to. I’ve pretty much had everything happen to me onstage that could possibly happen, and that was probably one of the most precarious situations I’ve ever been in.”
She concluded, “I was very proud of myself that I handled it like a pro.”
