LAFD Responds to Apartment Fire in Koreatown
LOS ANGELES – On Tuesday morning, the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to a significant apartment fire in Koreatown. The fire broke out around 7:20 a.m. in the 3200 block of James M Wood Boulevard, near the intersection of Irolo Street.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke emanating from the attic of a two-story garden-style apartment complex. They promptly initiated offensive measures to combat the blaze.
All residents of the building were safely evacuated, and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
